Refund Policy

1. All Sales Are Final
All DataCrop subscription fees — whether for monthly or annual plans — are non-refundable once charged. We do not offer prorated refunds for cancellations made mid-period. This policy applies to all subscription tiers.
We operate this policy because DataCrop provides immediate, continuous access to processed data and API infrastructure from the moment a subscription begins. We encourage you to evaluate the Free tier before upgrading to a paid plan.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your account returns to the Free tier. Cancellation stops all future renewal charges and does not trigger a refund of fees already paid.
For annual plans, you will receive an email reminder seven (7) days before your renewal date. If you do not wish to renew, cancel before that renewal date.
3. Plan Downgrades
You may schedule a downgrade to any lower paid tier at any time through your account billing settings. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period; your existing tier and all associated features remain active until that date.
No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current billing period when scheduling a downgrade. Starting from your next renewal date, you will be charged the rate for the selected lower tier. You may cancel a scheduled downgrade at any time before the renewal date with no penalty.
4. Limited Exceptions
We will issue a refund in the following narrow circumstances, provided the error originates on our end:
- Duplicate charge: You were billed more than once for the same billing period due to a processing error.
- Charge after confirmed cancellation: You were billed after a cancellation that processed correctly on our end and for which we have a confirmation record.
To request an exception refund, email support@datacrop.dev with your account email and the date of the charge in question. We will investigate and, if the error is confirmed, process the refund within ten (10) business days.
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account while the dispute is pending. Most billing issues can be resolved faster through direct contact than through a chargeback process. We encourage you to reach out to us first.
6. Account Deletion
Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately and terminates access to the Service. Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid for the current billing period.
